| So I called and noted that I would be arriving late for my double room - was told - OKAY, no problem. When I arrived, there was no problem, and NO DOUBLE room - I was stuck in a King/sofa sleeper room.....NOT GOOD! |

| We were looking for a "get out of town" mini vacation. Typically, Marriot hotels are staffed by people that are very knowledgeable about the area where the hotel is located. That was not the case with this hotel. We asked for brochures for local tourist sites and were told the hotel didn't have any. Unfortunately, it took us until the day before we were leaving to find the brochures hidden in a back hallway of the ground floor. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but you are on your own when it comes to finding food and entertainment. |

| Very pleased with our stay, the employees, and the room. The location was perfect! My 12 yr old daughter said she occassionally heard trucks on the interstate in the middle of the night but I never heard them either night. The indoor pool, although small, was clean and we were fortunate enough to have it to ourselves for the whole weekend. The free breakfast was nothing fancy but all we needed. We made our own waffles, had yogurt, eggs and sausage, etc.
We stayed on the ground level in room 119 and it was wonderful. The fridge had a separate freezer, there was the usual microwave, coffee pot, etc but there was also a separate sink for the "kitchenette" area and it was around the corner from the bathroom so no toothbrushes next to the coffee pot :)
I like keeping the room cool and the air conditioner certainly cranked out the a/c to my artic satisfaction & just as good heat to my daughter's satisfaction the next morning. There were plenty of nice oversized bath towels, hair dryer on the wall, 2 FLAT SCREEN TV's....one for the bedroom area and another for the sitting area with chair and loveseat. Although we didn't use it the exercise room looked decent with treadmills, weights,etc and they had just finished installing a billiards room with a pool table but we didn't go in....but it too looked nice. The front lobby has a beautiful 2 sided fire place with great seating areas around each side exactly as pictured. We also were fortunate enough to find a wonderful church closeby (Western Branch Community Church-nondenominational) and it was great! We visit the area every spring and will certainly make this our permanent stop each year. |

| First time booking hotel and was impressed. Breakfast was great. Hotel very clean. Staff could have been a tad more friendly/helpful. Booking our next stay now. :) |

| Great breakfast. Very clean. Only suggestion would be get a bigger sign. You cant see it from the road (it's on a mailbox?) Would stay there again for sure! |

| The Springhill Suites By Marriott Chesapeake was very satisfactory and at a convent location. The desk staff was very helpful. Housekeeping did skip replacing some items daily, like water glasses, Kleenex and extra roll of toilet paper. |

| We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is very friendly and the room was perfect. The breakfast was by far the best free breakfast we have ever received from a hotel. It took about half an hour to get to Virginia Beach but very easy to get to from the hotel. It didn't matter to my kids but the pool is not heated' so it was cold at times. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotels to friends and family! |

| I just want to say that Toyna S. from nights was the great. She was very helpful with things around us to do with young children and money wise. She made you feel really like you were from home. Teresa was the cleaning lady and she did a great job. Thank you ladies for everything you did for our family. |
